Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is the ultimate blood concentrate treatment. Prior to PRF, platelet rich plasma (PRP) was the gold standard used to rejuvenate the skin, stimulate collagen and reduce signs of aging. When obtaining this PRP sample, blood is collected and spun in a high-speed centrifuge using moderate G-Force to separate the red blood cells from the platelet rich plasma (PRP). This PRP sample was then injected into the treatment area. This difference in spinning produces 10x the growth factor concentration than that of PRP! Once extracted, the albumin is heated, the PRF is cooled, and then the two are mixed, which turns the PRF into a filler-like consistency.
